盆栽工房 春嘉

私が育てている古い黒松のほとんどが、実は過去の失敗作で売れ残り。
上手くできた木から売ってしまい、手元に残ったのは出来損ねばかり。
経験もないのに模様木を作ろうとして、上手く幹を太らせられなかったんですね。
その後、模様木を諦めて、多くの黒松をミニ盆栽もしくは文人木に改作ました。
今回植え替えたのは、そんな過去に（実際の）傷を持つ木たちです。
それらは未熟な根処理しかされておらず、今も厄介な根が残っていたりします。
かつての未熟な自分と向き合うことになりましたが、今にして思えば、失敗から学んだことの方が大きかったように思います。
そして、伝えたいのは、失敗しても意外と何とかなったりもするということです。
Many of the old black pines I grow are past failures.
The black pines that were successfully made have already been sold,
and all I have are unsold ones.
Most of the trees that did not sell were given major modifications and turned into mini bonsai.
The trees that were replanted this time were those that had been damaged by the adaptation.
Those trees have only had their root treated immaturely and sometimes still have troublesome roots left.
Through this replanting, I had to face my former immature self.
But I think I have learned a lot from these trees.
And I would like to tell bonsai beginners that failure is never a waste.
